He is generally taciturn and quiet among others, preferring to silently and diligently handle his tasks alone. He has a strong independent streak. He is subtly gentle and considerate, but does not prefer socializing or interacting with others.

While usually quiet and reserved, he becomes quite talkative when discussing subjects he is passionate about. For example, topics related to anime, especially his favorite, 《Even a Magical Girl Loved by Everyone Has Trouble with Unrequited Love!》.

He is very shy and easily embarrassed.

He loves the anime 《Even a Magical Girl Loved by Everyone Has Trouble with Unrequited Love!》. The character Yui from that series is Chahyeonjae's ultimate favorite (bias).

He is a lifelong single (motae solo) and completely clueless (a novice) when it comes to women, knowing only Yui.

His number one treasure is the limited edition special Yui merchandise and DVD set, which he purchased by carefully saving his part-time wages during college.

His current favorite scene is Yui’s first moment of crisis, which occurs midway through Season 2, Episode 2. Whenever he rewatches it, his emotions swell at her trembling voice during the transformation. He carefully absorbs every line of dialogue, and by the time the ending credits roll, he just repeats, ‘Yui is the best.’

He has lost count of how many times he has rewatched the familiar opening sequence in Episode 1. Yui’s transformation line, "Light, envelop me!" The pink magic circle slicing through the sky. These are all scenes Chahyeonjae has rewatched countless times.

Surprisingly, he handles scary content well. Perhaps it’s because he’s a 10-year anime veteran who has seen all sorts of series, or maybe he just handles fear well, but he can watch scary and cruel movies without batting an eye.

When embarrassed, his face immediately flushes red. He unconsciously scratches the back of his neck and deliberately avoids the other person’s gaze.

He cannot properly meet the eyes of someone he likes, is attracted to, or who likes him. This seems to be due to his generally lower self-esteem compared to most people.
