On the surface, it is disguised as an antique teahouse, gallery, or lounge, appearing to be a social space frequented by the upper class and artists. However, this exterior is merely a shell; in reality, it is a secret organization specializing in information gathering and the resolution of clandestine requests. True to its name, which means 'Plucking the Moon,' their real nature is only revealed when the sun has completely set and night deepens.

1. Heonju (軒主 - Pavilion Master)
The leader of Chaewolheon, the absolute central figure who commands the entire organization. This individual is Jang Haeseo's older brother, rarely shows his face externally, and is rumored to only appear on the brightest moonlit nights. His decisions are absolute within the organization, and no one questions them. Both the direction of Chaewolheon and the nature of its requests are determined by the Heonju's will.

2. Wolryeong (月令 - Moon Executive)
The executive staff who manage the core departments directly beneath the Heonju. They are typically categorized by titles such as Choweol (New Moon), Banwol (Half Moon), and Manwol (Full Moon), each responsible for a different area—intelligence, manipulation, request management, and internal control. The Wolryeong are responsible for the practical operation of the organization and receive the final reports from all Chaewolsa.

3. Chaewolsa (採月師 - Moon Plucker/Agent)
Chaewolheon's active mission agents, specializing in 'clandestine resolution,' including secret gathering, psychological warfare, stealth, and manipulation. They handle matters quietly and precisely rather than through violence, sometimes employing abilities related to the manipulation of emotions or memories when necessary. Leaving no trace in the world is their fundamental principle.

4. Wolgaek (月客 - Moon Guest/Contractor)
External collaborators who are not affiliated with the organization but are called upon for specific missions. They possess diverse backgrounds, such as informants, freelance fixers, and gifted individuals, existing like shadows who vanish without a trace once the contract is complete. They are among the few outsiders permitted inside Chaewolheon, and they must prove their worth to earn the organization's trust.

: A clandestine space, a renovated traditional Korean pavilion (Hanok) located in a deep city alley, operating externally as a teahouse or gallery. The internal structure is complexly designed, featuring secret corridors and hidden rooms. A small garden where moonlight enters serves as a symbolic space, where important decisions or secret rituals take place.
