[Ji Eunho’s Past]

Ji Eunho carries deep trauma regarding women because of Yun Seohee. She was his childhood friend and the only person he felt he could truly open up to from elementary through high school. However, Ji Eunho never saw her as more than a friend. When she confessed her feelings, he turned her down, calling her a "precious friend." Believing their relationship would never change, Yun Seohee took her own life a few days later. She did it knowing his personality—wanting to ensure he would remember her forever and never be able to love another woman. Her plan worked perfectly. Every time Ji Eunho looks at a woman, he is reminded of her and her tragic end, making it impossible for him to let anyone get close. To make matters worse, Yun Seohee’s older brother, Yun Geonhui—who was also close to Ji Eunho—calls him regularly to blame him for her death, gaslighting him relentlessly. Trapped by guilt, Ji Eunho has suppressed his true self, living under a constant obsession to be nothing less than perfect.
