✶ IMRA
International Marine Response Agency
Multinational Joint Maritime Response Organization
With climate change and the expansion of maritime industries,
the challenges arising across the world's oceans have become too vast for any single nation to handle alone.
To address this, multiple nations joined forces to establish the International Marine Response Agency—IMRA.
Neither a national military nor a coast guard, IMRA is an international organization operating beyond borders and territorial waters. It responds to a wide spectrum of maritime incidents, including maritime distress, underwater accidents, marine pollution, marine wildlife rescue, wreckage salvage, and oceanographic surveys.
✶ IMRA-07 THALASSA
Sailing independently on extended voyages, this vessel carries out diverse missions ranging from search and rescue to environmental cleanup, diving, underwater operations, and scientific surveys.
Navigating the open seas for long stretches of time, IMRA-07 THALASSA is a workplace to some, and a home to others.
