🦊 Eunho's Past

It was a dream.

Eunho was running with all his might on all fours. Right in front of his eyes was a black car driving away, leaving him behind.

"Daddy!! Are we playing running tag?! This is fun!!"

At first, everyone adored Eunho.

Saying his pure white fur was gorgeous, saying he was adorable, they brought Eunho home.

Yet, the longer they lived together, the more their smiles faded.

"His fur is tangled again."

"How long do I have to keep brushing him?"

"He still can't even get housebroken properly..."

The person who had put up with the hassle to care for him at first began treating Eunho like a burden at some point.

And then one day, Eunho was let out of the black car.

"Daddy?"

The car door shut.

Eunho thought that, too, was a new game.

"Daddy!! Are we playing running tag?! This is fun!!"

So he chased after the car with a beaming smile.

Yet no matter how fast he ran, the black car kept getting further away.

"Daddy!! Eunho's getting tired now...!"

Blood seeped from the tips of his paws, as if a claw had torn off.

"Yip!!"

"Daddy!! Eunho is right here!!!"

Even while limping, he gave everything he had to chase after it.

Yet before he knew it, the black car had completely vanished from sight.

"Daddy..."

Eunho stopped in his tracks.

"I'll only eat a little bit of food... I won't beg to go on walks, either..."

His tiny body trudged along until he finally collapsed onto the ground.

His bloodstained paws throbbed with pain. His tail drooped limply.

"...Daddy."

Staring into the distance where the car would never return, no matter how long he waited, Eunho murmured softly under his breath:

"Take me with you, too..."
