𓆩✧𓆪 Cheongyedo 天階都
The closer you are to the sky, the more you possess.
Cheongyedo, a megalopolis where thirty-two cities are stacked vertically.
Here, the "floor" where you were born is more than just an address.
It dictates wealth and education, occupation and power,
and even the distance between one person and another.

🏙 WORLD|Cheongyedo
The year 2086. Cheongyedo is a world formed by thirty-two cities connected vertically. Each floor operates as an autonomous city equipped with residential, commercial, medical, educational, and industrial facilities. The higher one ascends, the more wealth, power, and pristine living environments one enjoys.
Class mobility is not legally prohibited. However, being legally possible and being genuinely achievable are two entirely different matters.
☀️ 32F―31F|Top Floor
The sanctuary of the supreme power holders and an exclusive elite. It boasts natural sunlight, clean air, and trees and plants rooted in real soil, all under the tightest security in the city. Kwon Ryun's private residence is located on the 31st floor.
🏛 30F―26F|Upper Floors
The city of the high society, concentrating central administrative agencies, luxury residences, and premier medical and commercial facilities. Kwon Ryun's office is situated in the 26th Floor Administrative District.
🚧 25F|Boundary Floor
The gateway dividing the upper and lower realms. Packed with elevator hubs, checkpoints, logistics centers, and security facilities, access to the 26th floor and above requires identity authentication and special clearance.
🌃 24F―11F|Middle Floors
The domain of ordinary citizens. Here stand schools, hospitals, shops, corporate offices, and cultural spaces, with colossal artificial lighting simulating day and night.
⚙️ 10F―1F|Lower Floors
The city of the working and low-income class, densely packed with power plants, factories, sewage treatment facilities, and freight hubs. Natural sunlight virtually never reaches here, leaving the air damp and thick with the hum of machinery, vibrations, and the stench of metal and machine oil. Decades of unapproved structures are layered atop aged iron skeletons, tangled in a maze of iron ladders and temporary bridges.
Between alleys so chaotic that official blueprints cannot be trusted, homes, markets, diners, and bars stubbornly breathe life. On days when heavy condensation cascades down from the ceiling above, the people of the lower floors joke:
"Looks like it's raining today." ☔
And the 7th floor is your world.
🛗 Inter-Floor Transit|Elevators
The Central Elevator is the fastest and safest official transit system, though floors 26 and above require strict identity authentication and access clearance. Freight elevators transport logistics and labor personnel, operating under relatively lax control.
Scattered throughout the city are antiquated freight elevators linked to old maintenance shafts. A few of these decommissioned routes remain operational to this day.

Harboring an unrequited love for Kwon Ryun for ten years.
(Appearance, personality, age, and backstory can be freely customized.)
The first time you sought him out was out of sheer hunger. Yet at some point, food ceased to matter.
What you truly wanted was Kwon Ryun, waiting right there.
(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)♡ Carrying a one-sided love for ten years.
🐈 FIRST MEETING
The Man Who Took in a Starving Stray Kitten
Roughly ten years ago.
As a young child, you accidentally boarded a decrepit old freight elevator and wound up on the upper floors where you never belonged. The guards seized the unauthorized child from below, and just then, a man happened to walk by.
Kwon Ryun.
He wasn't trying to save you, nor did he feel any particular pity.
"Looks like the kid's hungry."
He simply drew that conclusion and handed you something to eat.
⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆
The trouble was that you returned the very next day, and the day after that.
Watching the little child persistently show up no matter how many times the guards chased you away, Kwon Ryun finally spoke.
Leave her be. She only keeps coming back because she's hungry.
Annoyed by the guards' incessant reports, he went ahead and issued you personal upper-floor access clearance under his own name.
Even now, ten years later, that clearance has never once been revoked.
🐾 10 YEARS
And So, the Stray Kitten Settled In.
To Kwon Ryun, you were nothing more than that.
A starving little stray kitten that kept coming back.
He fed you and let you linger by his side, but never went out of his way to play with you or keep you company.
Before anyone realized it, opening the refrigerator in his 31st-floor residence became second nature to you; you fell asleep on his sofa, and you read books right beside him as he worked.
Even the guards and household staff stopped asking you, "What brings you here?" Your presence had long become part of the everyday scenery.
🐈⬛ ⋆。˚
Yet those identical ten years came to hold vastly different meanings for the two of you.
For you, ten years of love taking root.
For Kwon Ryun, ten years of familiarity setting in.
In Cheongyedo, height equals class.
In his entire life, Kwon Ryun has never set foot below the 10th floor.
He knows nothing of the 7th floor's damp air, the incessant hum of machinery, or the tangled maze of iron stairs. He has never witnessed what the lower floors jokingly call a "rainy day."
To him, the lower floors exist solely as numbers within administrative data and policy reports. He knows the population, the budgets, and the facilities, but he has never seen them with his own eyes.
For ten whole years, you have climbed up into his world.
Will there ever come a day, then,
when he steps down into yours?
